The Dorset coastline is pretty tempting for even the most ardent of land lovers, so why not experience it from a completely different viewpoint during your stay? Wanting to try something spectacular? Thunderbolt is one of the last 1960’s classic speedboats in operation today and has to be one of the most unique trips you can take in the area. With short, day and evening trips available, you can decide if you’d prefer to stay in the bay or travel a little further up the Jurassic coast to enjoy the views.

The Official Test Centre is a water sports centre located right on the water’s edge, within the grounds of the National Sailing Academy on Portland, Dorset. Catering for windsurfing, kitesurfing, wing-foiling and stand up paddling (SUP), they are also the UK’s first Fliteschool, making the new exhilarating sport of e-foiling accessible for all.

BOAT TRIPS
These one-hour cruises will take you from Weymouth harbour, through the waters of the 2012 sailing Olympics where the likes of Ben Ainsley conquered for Team GB, to Portland harbour and back. There are also routs that take in the Jurassic Coast, as well as Bowleaze Cove, Osmington, Red Cliff point and many more.
