Wine Tour & TAsting
A wine tasting experience is a great partner to any stay at Lorton House. When you visit the Furleigh Estate they’ll show you around the vineyard and winery, before tasting all their still and sparkling wines at the end. Remember, that if you’re staying with us, you’ll also get up to 20% off the wine you decide to take home with you.

Xtreme Falconry
Falconry Experiences
If you’ve never tried or experienced it before, Falconry is something you should definitely give a go! With experience sessions available every day apart from Christmas and New Year, a VIP family session includes getting up close with Hawks, Falcons, and Owls for an hour and a half. Groups are suggested at 6 / 7 people.

When you started planning your trip to Dorset, I bet you never saw yourself indulging in axe throwing did you? That’s just one of the fun activities you could enjoy when you visit Insight Activities, which is nestled in a rustic woodland. Archery and bushcraft can also be on your agenda here.

When you think of mindfulness, you should think of walking an alpaca through the beautiful Dorset countryside. That’s exactly what is on offer with the aptly named Dorset Alpaca Walking. With walks taking around one and a half to two hours, there’ll definitely be plenty of selfies and photo opportunities too.

There’s been a murder at Lorton House! And you may well be the only ones that can solve one of the most infamous whodunnits’s in Dorset history!
