The Bedrooms
With eight spacious bedrooms (six of which are en-suite), there’s never any squabbling over the rooms at Lorton House. Here’s a quick low-down of where you may like to lay your weary head.
Bedroom 1
Emperor Bedroom
This room comes with spectacular views of the countryside and sea. It also has, you guessed it, an emperor-sized bed. The vast nature of this room gives it a real luxurious feel, with the large en-suite bathroom proving to be the icing on the cake.
Bedroom 2
Four Poster Bedroom
There’s just something about a four-poster bed and this decadent bedroom gives you the chance to wake up in your very own large super king four poster bed! You’ll also get to enjoy sea views and an en-suite bathroom including a shower over the bath and twin sinks.
Bedroom 3
King Bedroom
A king sized bed gives you plenty of sleeping space, as well as your own en-suite bathroom for maximum privacy. The wallpaper in this room will also catch your eye.
Bedroom 4
Twin Bedroom
Will you be calling this twin bedroom your home away from home? If you do, the standout feature here has to be the attractive fireplace. This bedroom shares a bathroom with bedroom 6.
Bedroom 5
Ground Floor Bedroom
Formally the Butler’s Pantry, our ground floor bedroom comes with a king size bed and en-suite shower room. As it is based on the ground floor, this bedroom is suitable for those with limited mobility.
Bedroom 6
Top Floor Twin Bedroom
Our pretty top-floor twin bedroom is a firm favourite with children staying with us, but is also ideal for those of any age wanting a bit of privacy in what was formally the servants quarters of the house. This bedroom also shares a bathroom with bedroom 4. There’s also a fantastic view for you to enjoy.

Large Top Floor Twin Bedroom
The large top-floor twin room overlooks the traditional country garden and now has its own shower room for you to enjoy too. It’s an ideal space to get away from it all, whilst having a gorgeous view of the garden.
Bedroom 8
Top Floor Double Bedroom
This pretty bedroom with king size bed has the best sea views from the house and its own en-suite shower room.
