Thank you again for such a wonderful weekend. We have been talking about what fun we had together, and how happy the kids were. We really appreciated all the little touches, and the house is clearly a very special place. Looking forward to coming back again! Our stay at Lorton House was very special and a wonderful opportunity for three families to get together. Our children loved the open grounds, space to explore and the nature that they discovered. The adults enjoyed the space to dine together and relax in some grand rooms with the sense of a grand country house everywhere. Our host made us very welcome, and we had everything that we needed. Nearby are a host of wonderful walks, and we spent relaxing afternoons at the beaches only a few miles away. We thoroughly recommend Lorton House to anyone looking for a special place to come together.

The house is absolutely stunning and was a lovely place to get the family together, we were particularly impressed with the kitchen. We would definitely recommend your house and would happily come again.

Everything was perfect and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. As a group, we try to get away a couple of times a year and like to go somewhere different each time. However, I’m sure we will be back for more in this case.

We all had the most wonderful Christmas at your lovely home. Our age range was from 20 months to 96, and each one had a great time. The children played carols on the piano after Christmas dinner and it was the best place for hide & seek. We have never stayed anywhere that was so well stocked with pots, pans & everything you needed.

Lorton House was a wonderful place to stay and also to celebrate New Year. We will definitely be recommending it to friends should they be looking for anything similar.

We really enjoyed our stay in you lovely house, we are all very envious! It felt like home from home as our house is about the same age, just a bit smaller, only five bedrooms and we only have a garden, not beautiful grounds. We all love to cook so it was wonderful to find such a well equipped kitchen and the children loved all the space to play in. The surrounding area was great too, so much to see, we only saw a fraction of Dorset.
